Daddy DJ are a new animated music group, similar to the Gorillaz, but focused on trance, techno and dance. Daddy DJ is the first single by Daddy DJ. Originally released in France, it spent 6 months at # 2 on the French Pop Chart, selling over 1 million CDs in France alone.
It then started to spread throughout Europe and reached the Top 10 in Belgium where it went platinum, and also hit the Top 10 in Sweden, Germany, Norway, Finland and Canada.
