Wideboys have long established themselves as a powerful force in the realm of British House, Bassline and UK Garage electronic music. Prolific and world-renowned, they’ve done official remixes for the biggest names in pop, from Rihanna, to Kanye West to Lady Gaga, and have had achieved tremendous success with original productions as well.
To celebrate selling 1 million copies of their compilation series on Ministry of Sound and for gaining a brand new time slot for their weekly Kiss Fm Show, the Wideboys decided it was time to re-release and rework their club smash from last year “Addicted 2 The Bass,” adding an almighty set of remixes. Enlisting the international production talent of Lazy Rich, Nick Thayer (Owsla), Timothy Allan & Loverush, UK garage dons, Sunship, and one of drum and bass’s shining stars, Tantrum Desire, to help hurt some speakers, things are about to get even louder.
“After a Soundcloud remix competition attracted entries from over 50 countries, it seemed we had something people were connecting with on a different level. In the process we unearthed some major emerging talent from dubstep to underground speed garage with the winners being added to the re-release package.” – The Wideboys

Rock Ya is an energetic techno track designed to rock your party and add some fun into your otherwise dreary musical experience. Axel Konrad, Woody Van Eyden and Spacekid contribute their distinctive styles to the remixes.
The Bad Habit Boys are CJ Stone and George Dee. Their first single Drop The Bass was big in clubs across Europe. Their second single Weekend reached even bigger heights with wide international appeal and has been released in 32 different countries world-wide, topping the dance charts in the UK, Germany, and the Netherlands. In the USA, it was very well received by club and mixshow jocks alike, gaining some prime mixshow airtime during the all important Friday afternoon “let’s get ready for the weekend” drive time mixshows. If Weekend got you pumped, then Rock Ya really will.
Masterbeaters featured another new Radikal single and this time it was that new banger from Bart Claessen “Showtime.” Masterbeaters calls “Showtime,” “Aggressive and bold, “Showtime” is sure to be a dance floor smasher on any house set.” This one is definitely going to rock the beach houses and clubs in the summer! Electronic music blog, House Music Beat posted up the Gigi Barocco remix of the huge record, “Super Dope.” House Music Beat calls it a “kind of epic electro slammer that would make Feed Me want to hang up his hat and call it a day.” We could agree with that. Check out the remix below, and check out the original article here.
Some people like their potatos mashed, baked, fried, scalloped, au gratin or even in a salad. Others like them technofied. Nobody technofies them better than The Potatoheads. You should just listen to them Mix The Master.
They specialize in chunky hard house tracks for those nights when you really need to load up on some hardcore carbs. Dancefloor madness taken to the extreme, they’re hard, angry and prone to mental drum breakdowns. And they don’t let up until you scream for mercy, or at least for some butter and sour cream.
Slop Rock And Whiskey Pete’s “Super Dope” is making the rounds on the internet, and it’s Gigi Barocco remix has been getting a lot of attention. With that said, Hype Machine got the track up for stream and we couldn’t be more excited. We expect the Hype Machine entries to pile up in the coming weeks! If you haven’t checked out this track, check it out below. You can also check out the original entry here.
