Diplo has recently released a new single off his upcoming EP, Express Yourself. We already heard the title track previously, now we got a new cut from the EP, Set It Off featuring Lazerdisk Party Sex (Great name!)

It has only been about a month since California’s mega music festival, Coachella, ended but that hasn’t stopped the festival from announcing it’s 2013 dates. Coachella 2013 will be held April 12-13th, and April 19-21st. Advanced tickets go on sale May 17th and will continue to go on sale until the 24th of May. General sale tickets go on sale early next year. Below is quoted from the official Coachella website:

Advance passes go on sale beginning this Thursday, May 17th, 2012 10:00 am PDT through the following Thursday, May 24th, 2012 10:00 pm PDT. The general on sale will happen early next year.
M83 recently posted on his soundcloud a new remix of his most recent single, Reunion. Mylo takes the duty of refreshing the already great dream pop tune with a new funky and electro-disco flair. If the original wasn’t dancey enough for you, the Mylo remix is sure to do the trick. The Reunion Remixes EP is set to drop on May 28th and has remix contributions from Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr., The Naked and the Famous, Sei A, Polly Scattergood, and White Sea. The Entertainment resort/casino, Revel, announced that world renowned DJ, Calvin Harris now has residency at Revel in Atlantic City. With the residency, Calvin Harris is scheduled to play 5 dates in 2012 as well as personal meetups with party goers this summer. Harris is best known for working on Rihanna’s smash hit single We Found Love as well as his collaborations with such other artists like: Kylie Minogue, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, and Dizzee Rascal.
HQ Nightclub is a 40,000-square-foot four level nightclub boasting spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean. Every level of the club features a different environment including a rooftop bar.

Psych-Electronic group, Animal Collective, just recently posted some new songs that could very well be signs of a new album on the horizon. Honeycomb and it’s accompanying b-side, Gotham, are now available for pre-order through their label site with a release date of 6/27. Electronic heavy hitter DJs, Skrillex, Diplo, and A-Trak are set to remix the classic Michael Jackson track, Bad as part of a promotion Pepsi is putting together soon. According to Mixmag, the track will be given away via codes on Pepsi cans, which fans scan with their phones and access the track to download. The track is said to coincide with the 25th anniversary release of the album. It will be interesting how fans will react to such a remix. Only time will tell.

The IDENTITY Electronic Music festvial is set to kick off July 19th in Cincinnati, OH at Riverbend Music Center. Early bird specials for tickets have been running on Ticketmaster for 25 dollars since April 24th. IDENTITY’S lineup is set to include some of electronics most high profile DJs and producers including: Paul Van Dyke, Nero, Eric Prydz, Hardwell, Porter Robinson and many others.

Traveling EDM dance-a-thon IDENTITY Festival will be returning for its second year with a 15-date nationwide tour this summer. The Live Nation event will feature such names as Eric Prydz, Paul Van Dyk, Nero, Madeon, Wolfgang Gartner and more. Thirteen acts have been announced today, with more to be added before the tour kicks off July 19.
The festival will be hitting amphitheaters from Boston to San Diego, with the shows running from the afternoon deep into the night. IDENTITY’s sponsors include Rockstar Energy Drink, Emazing Lights, Slurpee, TIGI Bedhead, and LifeStyles Condoms.
For headliner Prydz, this will be his first foray into North America since 2007 due to his well-documented fear of flying, which has kept the Swede in Europe. A limited amount of early bird tickets start at $25 and go on sale today, April 24.

Vampire Weekend’s Bassist, Chris Baio is set to release a solo EP on May 21st called Sunburn. Going under the DJ moniker, Baio, the 3 track EP is going to be released on Hot Chip’s Joe Goddard’s label, Greco-Roman. The first track to be released is a track called Tanto. Tanto is a breezy, upbeat song featuring Chilean techno DJ, Matias Aguayo.

Microsoft is said to be previewing their newest music service for their video game console, Xbox 360, at this year’s E3. According to a news article from The Verge, Microsoft is said to have it codenamed “Woodstock” and it is to provide a Spotify-Like experience to users. The service is said not to require an browser plug-in, and will have facebook connectivity. The music service is also said to have a feature similar to iTunes Match, which would allow users to migrate existing songs into the new service.
“Woodstock” will also provide function to Windows 8 devices and computers, which is said to be when the product will launch. The product is also said to be replacing the Zune music service, but anyone holding a Zune pass will be able to use it with the new music service.
