No Alternative is the result of a collaboration between two young producers and a DJ from Holland. RBA is Robert Verkerk, Bas Tichelaar and DJ Astrid. DJ Astrid is a well established DJ from Holland and has rocked the turntables at events like Trance Energy, Atlantiz, Mystery Land and New Frontier. Her first single was Atlantica by DJ Astrid vs. The Shrink. After this early adventure Astrid started recording together with Robert and Bas for the Dutch Purple Eye Entertainment Company's Canal label. They've used a number of pseudonyms for their releases such as Medicine Men, Stone Cold, and RBA.
Inspired by an unusual mix of electro, trance and hard house (Zombie Nation's Kernkraft 400 in particular), RBA decided to make those elements the backbone of their next record. The resulting No Alternative turned out to be a great success. Top DJ's throughout Europe have been spinning the record and Judge Jules on UK's Radio 1 has been charting the track for weeks! Additional remixes by Brooklyn Bounce have made this release even more powerful. Be prepared.... there is No Alternative.
