MIXMASTER
feat. ISABEL FRUCTUOSO

Mixmaster started his career in Brooklyn, NY where he was involved in a diversity of psychedelic styles.  He helped lay the foundation for the New York underground.  Since 1974, he has been involved with music, combining his knowledge of cutting edge dance music with his own fresh style.  Mixmaster became well known as a DJ in NY clubs such as Limelight, Danceteria and The Tunnel and became one of the originators of the house music movement.  Throughout the years his musical style has often changed, and he has gone from being one of the first hard house DJs of New York to one of those few people who have taught the universal club scene true soul.

Known for his innovative style and progressive sounds as well as a foresight for industry trends, he is in great demand as a producer and remixer.  The Mixmaster sound is featured on releases by 740 Boyz, KC Flightt, 2 Unlimited, Diva Convention, Afro Medusa and many others.  His original productions are regularly released in Europe and the US on such respected labels as Edel, Tommy Boy, Yellorange, Radikal, Eight Ball, Cutting, Vicious Musik, UMD, Manifesto, Limbo, Popular, Voice Of The Underground and Next Plateau to name a few.

Currently, Mixmaster has several tracks on both the UK and US charts such as Hard Days, Voices (Funky Junction vs. KC Flightt), Melody of Samba and El Bimbo Latino.  His most current production is the long awaited vocal version of Latin Session featuring Isabel Fructuoso.

Isabel Fructuoso is the vocalist from Afro Medusa.  Their biggest hit, Pasilda, reached the top of the US Club Charts.
