Lost Witness is one of the UK's top trance artists, specializing in the extremely melodic vocal trance anthems that everyone can't seem to get enough of lately. Their newest single, Did I Dream, was originally recorded back in 2000, but the time wasn't right for it's release. Two years later and now it's ready to go.
Sampling the 1983 hit Song To The Siren by Mortal Coil, it also borrows from Messiah's 1992 hit Temple Of Dreams. It's a typically epic production with female vocals over a lush, bass heavy melody. Remixes by DJ Tiesto and Minimalistix infuse some additional energy and drama into the production. Tiesto's remix is a little tougher than normal but still manages to incorporate an uplifting riff and fully utilizes the vocal in the breakdown which will be putting smiles on faces wherever this is dropped.
A very high quality trance production, Did I Dream follows in the footsteps of previous singles 7 Colours and Happiness Happening. Lost Witness fans will not be let down.

7 Colours looks set to follow the success of their previous two import singles -
Red Sun Rising and Happiness Happening, the latter of which was released
on Radikal last year. 7 Colours is aimed firmly at the dancefloor.
Lyrics are provided by Manchester's Ed Barton (who wrote Opus 3's It's A Fine
Day)
The Original Mix is a fine example of why Lost Witness are the UK's premier trance production duo, as the boys deliver a truly uplifting track, with full on beats, pumping baseline, trademark keyboard stabs, lush strings and a breakdown that will have dancefloors reaching for the roof. The Angelic Remix kicks off the A side of the vinyl and proves that Angelic's Darren Tate can maintain the outstanding quality he brought to the Top 10 with his smash It's My Turn. Progressive remixers Moguai come up with the goods as they transform the track into a deep and pounding, relentless bassline driven groove. Moguai expertly builds tension right up to the layered string breakdown. There is also a mix from the man of the moment in hard house circles, Jon Doe. Jon's ultra tuff mix will be huge with those who like it hard and fast.
CD Maxi single includes:
Lost Witness are DJ / Producer Simon Paul and producer Simon Kemper. The dynamic duo met and formed in May 1998 as Dusk Til Dawn and enjoyed the underground success of Fine Night, which in turn brought songwriter Ed Barton into the frame as the third, if more silent member, to complete the happy union.
Paul & Kemper have both experienced similar musical upbringings with Paul's parents heavily influenced by big band and jazz while Kemper's pursued and continue to pursue the opera. Simon Paul has been actively DJing for 14 years, following the peaks and troughs of house music which has inevitably shaped the way he produces. Simon Kemper has been equally molded by keeping himself up to date with his clubbing experiences in and around London. The fusion of both has culminated in a plethora of musical, vocal trance anthems.
Happiness Happening, their first single, debuted at the very respectable # 18 on the UK Pop Chart along with being a # 1 club hit in the UK. Their follow-up single, which has already been released in the UK last summer was Red Sun Rising.
Lost Witness are dedicated to vocal, song based club tunes with mass crossover appeal.
