The year 2001 has seen the rapid
emergence of a thriving and vital house music scene in Germany.
While pioneers like Tom Novy and DJ Tonka laid the foundation, it
has been Milk and Sugar, a hot new DJ / producer team from Munich that
has been turning heads and getting most of the attention this year.
Releases by Robbie Rivera, Damien J. Carter, Discotexx, and
Star City had major impact on the European dance scene this past summer
and generated a massive crossover hit with Bang by Robbie
Rivera.
Radikal is now launching Milk & Sugar's ibiza hit Funky
People by Lost 'N' Alive. The song, based on the early soul
hit Funky Nassau by Beginning Of The End, quickly ascended
to the top of the dance charts in Germany, Holland, France and the
United Kingdom where it also hit the Top 40 pop chart.
One of the featured tracks on Groove 2001, Funky People
is sure to move dancefloors and party crowds here in the US
also.
