Flash Of A Firefly is the
debut album from three time Nammy (Native American Grammy)
award winner Jana. Native American by birth and heritage,
contemporary artist through hard work, perseverance and talent, Jana's
fresh new face and exotic style brings pop music to a whole
new territory. Incorporating strong Native American influences with
adult contemporary and pop songs, Jana's music appeals to a
wide audience which includes everyone from elementary school
children to senior citizens and all ages in between.
Inspirational ballads like One Spirit, and A Friend Above
are favorites at her live shows and among her Native American
audiences.
Jana regularly performs at numerous
casinos nationwide where she has built a diversified audience. She
often performs at Native American festivals and events where
she has become a favorite with the Native audiences. In addition,
she performs and speaks at schools across the country where her unique
blend of music, dance and motivational speaking helps
reach out to the Native American youth. She is also involved in two lines
of jewelry - Jana's Indian Spirit Bracelets and Jana's Urban
Indian Jewelry.
Jana scored major dance success with her single More Than Life
which was released on Curb Records in 2000 and went on to become a
huge hit on dance radio nationwide, especially on WKTU in
NYC. She has had two previous singles on Radikal Records,
Stairway To Heaven and Found A Love, which both received
much club support and attention. Stairway To Heaven made it up to
# 7 on the Billboard Dance Singles Sales Chart.

Found A Love is the follow-up single to Stairway To Heaven. Stairway To Heaven, a dance remake of the Led Zeppelin classic, peaked at # 7 on the Billboard Dance Singles Sales Chart.
Found A Love includes remixes by Andy & The Lamboy, Polarbabies, Ryan Morales and Schiller. Remixes range from tribal house to underground club to euro pop to trance to pure acoustic. There's something here for all musical tastes and styles.
Jana recently won a Nammy (the Native American Music Awards) for Best Pop Record with Stairway To Heaven. She is also set to star in her first feature film, Dreamcatcher, a romantic comedy to be directed by McKay Daines of Joan Of Arc fame. Jana had
one of the biggest dance records of 2001 with More Than Life.
A huge club anthem, it featured a kick ass remix by MTV's DJ
Skribble and Anthony Acid. The song got substantial airplay
on key dance music radio stations such as WKTU, WXXP, WKIE
and WPYO and opened new doors for Jana.
Her new single, the follow-up to More Than Life, is Stairway To
Heaven - a dance remake of the classic rock epic by Led
Zeppelin. Everyone knows the song, now you can dance to
it!
Jana is Native
American by birth and heritage. Her striking looks and powerful
voice coupled with the explosive rhythms of pop, dance, urban and gospel
create an incredible new mix of music that seduces your ears

A member of the Lumbee tribe, Jana incorporates much of her
