Gouryella is back. This time Ferry Corsten is without his original Gouryella production teammate, DJ Tiesto (who left Gouryella awhile ago), with what is set to be another huge club release on Radikal Records.
Regardless of group members or lack thereof, this track is big. Words don't seem to do justice to just how brilliant this track is. The breakdown is composed only of strings and a mind-blowing melody. If you only heard this part you could easily mistake it for classical music. Then the uplifting synths blend oh so smoothly into this classical masterpiece, making it an experience on it's own. The emotions portrayed are near overwhelming. The track is similar in sound and style to William Orbit's Barber's Adagio For Strings which also received massive recognition with a Ferry Corsten Mix.
Truly an example of what kind of emotion can be used within dance music, Ligaya must be heard to be believed. Yet another massive release from Gouryella.

The musical brains behind the act
Gouryella are the influential Dutch producers / DJs Ferry Corsten and
DJ Tiesto. The name Gouryella is a reference to the hereafter of the
aboriginals. The first single from the group, also called Gouryella, is a phenomenal piece of
trance, with a strong song structure and a wicked drive. The single entered the
UK Pop chart at # 15 and became a world-wide hit. The single was accompanied by a fully
animated video in which a swinging Aboriginal is taking the lead part and is on the look out for a record deal.
Inspired by the success of the first Gouryella single, Ferry and Tiesto hit the studio again and came up with their more commercially orientated follow-up single entitled Walhalla. Complemented with excellent remixes by Hybrid and Armin Van Buuren, Walhalla also became an international success and entered the UK Pop chart at # 27.
The newest single from Gouryella is called Tenshi. With Tenshi, Ferry and Tiesto have produced a massive single without compromising the underground club credibility of the act. Remixes by ATB, Ratty, Transa, CJ Stone and Cabba Kroll will help insure it's club success. The melodic hook of Tenshi will grab you, hold you and won't let you go.
