What do DJ Miko What's Up?, Nicki French Total Eclipse Of The Heart, and Stars on 54 If You Could Read My Mind all have in common?  Anyone with even the slightest knowledge of dance music would be able to tell you that they were all hugely successful dance cover versions of songs that were originally Top 40 rock / pop hits.  Every few years another one emerges.  Here's the next one - The Final Countdown by Enyosion.

Originally recorded by Europe in 1987, The Final Countdown spent 18 weeks on the Top 100 and peaked at Number 8.  It was used as the theme song for the major motion picture Rocky IV, and was one of Europe's most successful records, along with Carrie, Rock The Night, Cherokee, and Superstitious.
